I always wanted Sea Monkeys. I would see them on the back of comics and they would show them with bows in their hair and playing with balls. They had a castle in their world. I so wanted these amazing creatures. I got them, and mixed up all the mixes. I set them on the table to live out their happy life and to grow big enough to wear hair bows. They lived in their tank on the dining room table for a couple of days. That is until Adrain spied my little pets. I had taken off the tank lid and had gone to my room to get them some food and when I returned Adrain was drinking from the tank!
She drank half the tank water. Dad chewed me out and thought about calling posion control again. I put the lid back on the tank and thought for sure Adrain had drank them all. I put the tank on the window ledge and left what water was in there. To my surpised the little shrimps did grow, they looked nothing like the picture. I am not sure about the ones that inhabit Adrain, those are probably a different story. Adrain’s secret.
Christmas of 2007 I recieved a Canon Power Shot SD750. At the time I really thought it was too much of a gift. I was only six months out of cancer surgery and had a three terminal diagnoses and I really didn’t want any one buying me anything expensive. It was my first digital camera. Last camera I had owned was some cheap 110 camera. I wasn’t really sure how long I had to enjoy the Canon. I worked very hard at learning how to use it. I found that it was my favorite ever Christmas gift and after such long painful year, it was something that brought me great joy. People could finally see how I saw things. Through my eye or possibly the way I wanted to see things. I was able to share what caught my eye. Flowers, expressions on people’s faces, the way the ocean leaps and crashes. For the first time I could share my world. I was happy to share it. I had summer plans for that camera. I had places to take it to!
Canon, I had your product for a little less than a year and six months and during that time, it never got old, I enjoyed it the entire time. I take care of everything that I own, I am overly responsible. I am the kind of person that gets their oil changed regularly. I am an anal caretaker of my shit, I will put that on the table. My last cell phone was taken such good care of that it was phased out and no longer recieved signal and the cell phone company was surprised to even see one that old when I came in to complain.
Yesterday I was out getting ready to take pictures of the veteran’s memorial garden, in the town I Iive in and I got the lens error. Canon you know the one, the one you claim is the fault of the owner of your product for mistreatment. There was that class action lawsuit that got dismissed. Your company continued to make faulty products for years, knowly! I mean tell me how you couldn’t know? Not that many people thrashing their camera’s around. The case might have been dismissed but in the courtroom of my attic, your guilty! All these claims about sand in the camera and dust. The camera being dropped. Well I priced the repair and it is more than the camera’s value at this time. So Canon, I did what any woman with common sense would do I took the cover off and no grain of sand, no dust, nothing! My model has a grease leak issue, which you also haven’t been willing to address that does cause the lens error. You have taken millions from consumers. Consumer Reports even discusses this fault with the camera, it is even on Wiki. Canon I don’t have the income to buy myself a new camera, so I will have to save for a very long time. All I can think is how dare you cheat people. I am one pissed off person at this point. I have facts now and I will share them with others. I would call you and discuss this with you, but I can see from the other customers online that you don’t stand behind the crap that you make. Also added is the class action law suit. Canon you know you have an issue and have failed as a company to address it.
Now as one person says, I have an expensive paper weight, thanks Canon!
